    Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 2026 · Last reviewed: April 2026

    Our commitment

Certainly is committed to making our website and platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We design and build to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing engineering practice, not a one-time audit.

    Conformance status

www.certainly.io is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform. The site is regularly reviewed against the standard and remediation is prioritised in our roadmap.

    Measures we take

    • Semantic HTML landmarks and a "Skip to main content" link on every page.
    • Color tokens tightened to meet WCAG AA (and AAA where possible) contrast ratios.
    • Keyboard-accessible navigation, dialogs, and form controls with visible focus styles.
    • Touch targets sized to at least 24×24 CSS pixels (WCAG 2.2 SC 2.5.8).
    • Alternative text on informative images; decorative images marked appropriately.
    • Icon-only controls (chat send, reset, dismiss, stepper buttons) carry descriptive aria-labels, with their decorative icons marked aria-hidden.
    • Streaming chat transcripts (Agent Builder, on-page assistant) are exposed as role="log" with aria-live="polite" so screen-reader users hear new messages as they arrive.
    • Respect for the user's prefers-reduced-motion setting.
    • Form fields with associated labels and accessible error messages.
    • Right-to-left language support for Arabic and Hebrew.

    Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet meet our target. Known limitations include:

    • Embedded third-party content (HubSpot forms, social embeds, video players, scheduling widgets) may not fully conform; we work with vendors to improve this.
    • Auto-translated content in 14 non-English locales may have phrasing or screen-reader pronunciation issues; original English content is the reference.
    • Some product demo animations are visually rich; we provide static alternatives and respect reduced-motion preferences.

    Assistive technology compatibility

The site is designed to be compatible with the latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) combined with screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. It should also work with browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
